Project Management

Master the essentials of project management and turn organizational initiatives into well-planned,           well-executed, and successfully completed projects that support organizational goals.

Overview

Organizational leaders and designated personnel are routinely expected to lead initiatives, implement changes, and deliver results through projects while continuing to fulfill their core responsibilities. Without a solid grounding in the fundamentals of project management, these initiatives can be undermined by unclear objectives, inadequate planning, competing priorities, and ineffective execution. Developing essential project management capabilities enables them to make better-informed decisions, provide clear direction, anticipate and manage risks, align resources and priorities, and ultimately ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with intended business outcomes.

This practical course equips non-project managers, including organizational leaders and designated personnel, with the essentials of project management using a clear lifecycle-based approach from initiation to closure. It focuses on real world application and managerial judgment rather than complex tools and technical jargons, combining short inputs, discussions, and hands-on activities. By the end of the program, participants will be able to start, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects more effectively, avoid common causes of delays and scope creep, and lead project teams with greater confidence and control resulting in more consistent and successful project outcomes.
